WHO IS DREW & WHAT IS SIDEQUEST?
The Mission
SideQuest is an independent, self-funded documentary and adventure series created by Drew. The premise is simple: go to the places that matter, film what's actually there, and put it online for free — no subscriptions, no paywalls, no gatekeeping of any kind.
In a media landscape where access is controlled, stories are packaged, and the most important places in the world are kept behind closed doors, Drew believes the public deserves to see things for themselves. SideQuest is his answer to that.
The Epstein Island Series
Little St. James Island — a 75-acre private island in the US Virgin Islands — was purchased by Jeffrey Epstein in 1998. For over two decades, the island served as a private retreat for Epstein and his associates, many of whom were among the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. Following Epstein's arrest in July 2019 and his death in August of that year while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, the island was seized and has remained largely abandoned.
Despite being one of the most talked-about locations in the world — referenced in court documents, congressional hearings, and thousands of news articles — very little visual documentation of the island exists from the post-Epstein period. Drew set out to change that.
The three-part series documents Drew and his crew's infiltration of the island: the journey to get there, the exploration of the compound and its structures, and a raw, unscripted reflection on what the island represents in the broader context of accountability, power, and justice.
No production budget. No permission. Just Drew, his crew, cameras, and the decision to go.
